In Bavaria, Karl Bossong establishes Bossong-Werk GmbH. As a racing driver, he begins by manufacturing fuel pipes for high-performance sports engines.

In a nation devastated by war, Karl Bossong converts the business to construction fastenings: he produces nails and tools for driving nails into concrete, securing several patents in the United States.

The Taddei family acquires Bossong GmbH and enters the powder-actuated fastening sector.
Leading the newly formed BOSSONG S.p.A. is Luciano Taddei, son of Emilio, founder of Industria Elettrochimica Bergamasca, which supplied zinc-coating for Bossong’s powder-actuated nails.

In 1968 the two companies merge. The current logo is created, featuring the E and B, symbolizing the union of Elettrochimica and Bossong.

The construction of the new facility allows the company to expand its product range, including mechanical anchors and Phillips Red Head power tools.

Alongside mechanical anchors, the company introduces nylon anchors.
Bossong also becomes one of the first Makita distributors in Italy. Its national distribution network includes five regional branches with warehouses.

In the early 1990s the headquarters move to Treviolo (BG), where Bossong begins producing its first epoxy resin, soon followed by polyester resin—marking the start of industrialized chemical anchoring production.

With the new century, Bossong enters the field of structural restoration, developing an innovative controlled grout-injection reinforcement system with a fabric “sock” for structural consolidation.

Bossong relocates to its current headquarters in Grassobbio to support increased production and sales volumes, with new manufacturing lines and a larger warehouse.

Luciano Taddei passes away at the age of 80. He transformed a small artisan business into a true industrial company. Thanks to his leadership, Bossong became recognized in the construction industry for its reliability and professionalism, both in Italy and internationally.

Bossong opens its logistics center in Zanica, just a few kilometers from the Grassobbio headquarters: a 3,300 m² building, 14 meters tall, equipped with a fully automated warehouse system, commercial offices, and an exhibition area.
